Every morning I get up early and go to my office. I grab a cup of coffee, my journal, and me and Bubba settle into my nest chair. This is a nonnegotiable of my day. I get right before the Lord before I plan my day. My chair faces the window and I get to see some of the best handiwork of God. As I was looking at this beautiful view, I marveled at how immense He is and how small I am. I find this perspective very important as I launch into my day. You see God directs my day; what I am going to do and how I will do it. But we also take a moment to reflect on the day before. How did it go? How could I have been better? You see when you spend time getting right before the Lord, you really don’t need to worry about what other people think. God has a way of calling you out but more importantly He has a way of changing you from the inside out. All you have to do is be willing to listen.
