Lord I cannot but you can.
THE EMPOWERMENT PROJECT UPDATE! “Cha-ching!” I grab my phone and look at our online sale. It’s a $500 donation to The Empowerment Project!!

I literally want to cry. You see The Empowerment Project wasn’t my idea. Sure, I told you guys about it but it wasn’t my project. It was God’s. I am not a fundraiser. I am not good at it and I hate asking people for money. God was pretty clear with me when I was sitting in the workshop in Kigali Rwanda. God: “Say you will do the project.” No, I don’t want to. I hate asking people for money. God: “You aren’t asking for you, you are asking for the ladies.” What if I can’t raise the money? God: “You tell the story and I will handle the rest. Say you will do it.” Jamie, The Marketplace would love to partner with you and change some lives. Me on the outside:
Me on the inside:

I get asked all the time how do I know it’s God telling me to do something. 1. I don’t want to do it. 2. It’s beyond anything I can do on my own. But what I love is this, if I do my part, He will do His. I just have to tell the story and He will move on the hearts of His people.
You guys continue to blow me away with how much you love others. I love our community so much because you guys think outside of yourselves and show such incredible compassion for others. Ladies who have left sex work in Rwanda, their children, and their community will forever be changed. Know this, every donation whether it is $5 or $3,755 makes me cry. It reconfirms to me, when you are doing what God wants you to do, He will never leave you hanging! He is more than capable even in the middle of a pandemic. What’s He asking you to do that is so much bigger than you?
