The Music of Your Life

The Music of Your Life

A classically trained violinist stepped onto the stage ready to perform, when he realized this was not his prized violin.

He went backstage and discovered that someone stole his violin and replaced it with this inferior one.

He walked back out, looked at the audience, and said, “I will now demonstrate that the music is not from the instrument but from the soul.” He then proceeded to play like he never played before and the audience was enraptured! (Paraphrased from Streams in the Desert)

This got me thinking that many times we wait for everything to be perfect before we do what God has asked us to do. Well folks, there is no such thing as perfect. I should know. Each time God has asked me to step out for The Marketplace, it’s never been perfect, not even close. But what has been the same each time has been the heart behind the action.

God looks at the heart. If the heart is right, He will provide the rest. He will affect the end result.

What is God asking you to do that you feel you are ill equipped to handle? Step into it,do your best, and leave the rest to Him.
