Banana Leaf Woven Canteen Bag by Vi Bella and Little by Little from Haiti

$26.00

Woven out of banana leaf, this canteen bag is going to become your favorite grab and go! Who could really blame you though, it's just so cute!

Dimensions: 9.5 inches in diameter, 11 inch handle

Vi Bella, meaning ‘beautiful life’, impacts the lives of at risk women within Haiti, Mexico and the United States. These women serve as artists and inspiration within their communities. Utilizing plastic and glass bottles collected by local boys, women in Haiti and Mexico upcycle the material and transform a littered landscape into beautiful jewelry.

In Haiti abject poverty causes many parents to relinquish their parental rights to local orphanages. The vast majority of children in orphanages have living family. The solution to the orphan crisis is not to build more orphanages. Instead, Little by Little empowers parents to provide for their own families through skills training and job creation. This is what we call Orphan Prevention. This is how they keep families together.
