The Kitenge Wave is our latest design with Jacaranda Creations and we are just so excited! Kitenge is a beautiful African fabric but sometimes it can get a bit crazy! So we wanted to celebrate kitenge fabric in a new way by mixing in leather! The design concept is that the beautiful African fabric is spilling outside of the bag. Fully lined in kitenge, the tote has a zippered pocket trimmed with leather and a side pocket. There is a magnetic snap to secure your tote. I have to say when I look inside my bag at the African fabric, I can't help but smile! The cognac is a nubuck leather and feels amazing. Please note that the leather has natural variations within each hide.

Jacaranda Creations from Nairobi Kenya rescues women who have been prostituting and begging and teaches them a trade. Not only do they employ them, they share the Gospel with them. As the women work together they build community. They pray for each other and become each others support group.
