Catimor is a staple coffee variety grown in Honduras. To give this coffee an extra special flavor, they utilize a labor intensive natural process. They leave the fruit around the seed while it is drying. This allows the fruity sugar to penetrate the bean. This give this bean a dark cherry accent with chocolate notes. Some even say, there is a hint of plum. This is a dark roast coffee and is available in both ground and whole bean.

San Lazaro Farm was established in 2006 in La Botija Mountain. This is a very unique coffee farm in that it is led and run by women. Before this farm was established, women would pick coffee and only be paid a fraction of what the men were paid. San Lazaro offers employment to over 20 women so they are able to provide for their children. Because they are committed to the people behind the coffee bean, they pay the ladies above established fair wages, nearly double! The coffee is delicious because it is grown in high altitudes and in rich volcanic soil with just the right amount of shade and sun. But what I really love about this ministry is that not only do they give the ladies dignified employment but also spiritual development through devotions and Bible study. This is an elevated coffee experience that's cultivated with dignity.
