Made out of innertube from a recycled car tire and vegetable tanned leather, this is one sleek and modern looking passport!  Innertube outside, soft vegetable tanned leather inside, this passport cover has plenty of storage slots for all your travel papers. One side has a slot to hold your plane tickets and the other side has 2 slots to hold your credit cards. Slim and sleek, it will easily store in your bag. Whenever I carry mine, the Home Land Security agent always asks me about it and thinks it's so cool that it is made out of a car tire! I think so too!

Deux Mains  is French for "two hands" and was inspired by craftsmen using their own two hands to sculpt the sidewalls of tires into soles with a pride that comes from not only making something valuable for others, but also making a meaningful life for themselves. This artisan group hand crafts leather sandals from recycled car tires and local leathers as well as making some amazing bags and accessories. These artisans are part of a community in Haiti that is growing sustainability and empowerment.
