Why do we love this oversized card? Because The Marketplace was able to gift Ki'pe'peo with a special screen so they could make these cards! We love the results. The painting and designs on the card will make this one an instant favorite. These guys would look great framed! The card is blank inside and envelope is not included.
Dimensions: 6 x 6 inches
Ki'pe'peo Designs is a ministry in the slums of Kibera; one of the worst slums in all of Africa. The ministry starts each day in prayer and feeds the women one meal a day, sometimes that is the only meal they might have. The cards are made by pulverizing shredded paper and laying the pulp in the sun to dry. They then take old tin cans, buttons, safety pins, beads, wire, or cow bone and create innovative designs. Know that when you purchase a Ki'pe'peo card, that not only are you getting a unique treasure but you are empowering women in Kenya.
