Rabbit Doll by Work of Her Hands from the Republic of Georgia

$16.00

When I 1st saw this rabbit, I knew I had to have them for you. It is seriously 1 cute bunny! The girl bunny has a hand knitted hat and scarf. The hat and the skirt comes off! It takes about 3 hours to make 1 bunny and 2 artisans work on it. Afsana makes the bunny and Angela knits the hat and the scarf. We have 2 different patterned skirts; a green gingham and a pink floral. This is sure to delight any little girl! They also make matching toddler aprons! Note: for the pink bunny, her scarf and hat may be a slight different shade of pink then what is pictured.

Dimensions: 15 inches tall

Work of Her Hands work with Azeri woman who live in Georgia. In the Azeri language, hands are frequently spoken of when talking about work. It is an honor to produce something good with your hands. Azeri women work hard inside their households but broken families and economic difficulties often leave them as the primary breadwinners. Work of Her Hands collaborates with these ladies to enhance and teach skills they can use to work from home. There are currently 10 ladies in this group.
