The artisans cut the top off of the steel drum, build a fire to get rid of the oil and paint, cut the bottom off, slice it down the side, AND now they are ready to start creating this beautiful lantern.

You can hang this lantern with a candle inside on your backporch as you gather with your friends and family. Inevitably someone is going to mention how gorgeous it is. That's when you can share how this lantern was handmade out of a recycled oil drum and how it's empowering an artisan with a job so they can provide for their family!  It would also look great on a patio table, on a shelf, heck- it would look great anywhere. It would also make a beautiful gift.
