So now you have a Basket Tote and you want to add to it?!? Well never fear, we have the latest addition to the Basket Tote line- it's a woven wristlet! Made out of recycled plastic, this pouch is full lined, has a zipper closure, AND the perfect wrist strap. What a perfect way to keep yourself organized and support an amazing ministry!

Made of recycled plastic thread, this basket takes a lot of work to create. They start with a form and they hand weave the plastic tread around it. It can take anywhere from 4-7 hours to make one depending on the artisan's skill level.

Sueno means dream and Canasta means basket and this truly is a dream for the artisans to have a job making baskets. This little group with a huge heart from Guatemala is empowering young women and teenagers in their community where finding a job is extremely difficult. What I love is when you empower someone with a job, you light something within them. They start to believe in themselves and they start to dream, dream things are possible. One of their artisan's who is 16 started to believe in herself and is going back to school to finish her education. She is currently at a 2nd grade level. By purchasing a basket, you are giving them an opportunity to make their dreams become a reality.
