Sari and Hogla Everyday Basket by Rahab's Rope from India

$20.00

I am always on the hunt for unique beautiful product that you will love for years to come! I was intrigued when I saw this. Hogla is a small bush that grows by the river banks and looks like grass. They dry the leaves and then weave it with recycled sari fabric to create these beautiful one of a kind work of art. Due to the nature of the recycled sari, you may not get the one pictured. But be assured you will get one equally beautiful! This basket would look beautiful on your kitchen counter with fruit and veggies, look great on your shelf keeping you organized, or make a unique gift!

Dimensions: 9 x 4 inches

Rahab’s Rope exists to spread awareness and help eradicate sex trafficking. What many would not know or want to know is that it is the fastest growing crime in the world. $99 billion is generated annually by the sex industry. Sometimes people become overwhelmed by these numbers and they turn a blind eye. “What can I do?” You can support awesome ministries around the world who are doing something about it. Rahab’s Rope is one of these groups that is partnering with The Marketplace. They are in Goa, Mumbai, Bangalore, and Delhi. They have different programs in each area; prevention, direct intervention, and aftercare. We love what they stand for. They empower their artisans to grow and develop physically, mentally, financially, and spiritually. I love what all of our groups who are involved in rescuing people from trafficking say; we cannot heal them only the love of Jesus Christ can.

Empowering People. Changing Lives.
