Shibori Robe by Ziyada from India

Sold out

Shibori is a Japanese manual resist dyeing technique which produces pattern on fabric. The ladies take cotton fabric, fold it, and tie it with rope. They then submerge it in a vat of indigo dye. This produces beautiful geometric patterns in varying shades of indigo. The best part? No 2 pieces are the same, each is a one of a kind piece of art.

This waffle cotton robe is perfect to lounge around the house in and still look great! It would make a great beach cover up.  It has 1 pocket and a removable tie. With 3/4 length sleeves, it makes it perfect for spring, summer, and fall. My guess is once you put it on, you won't want to take it off! This would look great with a Shibori Scrunchie or Shibori Head Band Wrap.

Care instructions: machine wash cold and line dry.

Dimensions: 37 inches long

Ziyada (Zee-yah-duh) means more—more hope, more help, more happiness, more health—for you and for our world. Ziyada exists to provide meaningful employment in a safe, loving environment for people caught in the devastating cycle of extreme poverty in North India, and in the process, to bring you more quality and beauty through each good we create.
